In Winds of Dark Desire
through time and space
like cherry blossoms
falling from a tree
i bit the apple
of mad seduction
and
gave birth
to you and me.
there was no one
before you then
except a fantasy
no one
to hold me back
and say
"you belong to me."
so i plunged deep
into your eyes
and
further to your soul
that innerspace
of good and grace
weaved through
with hues of gold.
falling
like a dying bird
falling
like a dream
falling
like a scorched red rose
that
had no voice to scream.
and at the bottom
of the fall
i fell into your hands
I learned the ways
of love and lust
of
woman and of man.
now the two of us
walk through the world
like beings
from above
seeing this
and
hearing that
and tasting of sweet love.
perhaps
we will not always be
perhaps
the dream will end
perhaps
through time and space
once more
we’ll slip and fall again.
like cherry blossoms
on a tree
are hearts
filled up with fire
so beautiful
so delicate
in the winds
of dark desire.
and though they bud
and though they grow
and their perfume
touches all
like you and i
and all who bloom
we
are born to fall.
