Blue's The Color Of Love
They say that red is the color of love
I suppose because of the heart
And that passion is fire
And so is desire
And maybe that's where it does start.
But love doesn't stay red forever
It wanes into pink and to pale
And fire turns to ice
And before you think twice
That heaven dissolves into hell.
And that's where the lonely takes over
Takes over when push comes to shove
The fire goes cool
And you feel like a fool
Then you know blue's the color of love.
