Where do we go from here
Now that our love has gone?
How do our feet dance their slow dance
Now that they're walking alone?
When do we get to smile again?
Our smiles disappeared when we frowned
How do we stay above water
Now that the passion has drowned?
Why did our love die in vain
After living so sweetly in dreams?
Why did the promise get broken so quickly
When we found nothing was what it seems?
How do you mend what is broken?
Can the broken rise up and be healed?
How does a soul resume dreaming?
When you find only nightmares are real?
I don't know, my love, where you are tonight
And all these things, my heart needs to know
I'm lost and I'm going right out of my mind
Because it's the only place I know to go.

Now this is a great poem that I can relate to! Here we are. Two shining stars........How do you mend what is broken? It takes the right person with an understanding heart. Someone who will wrap their arms around your heart and hold it as though they were hanging on to dear life. Because it is very dear to them. Can the broken rise up and be healed? Of course! If you're not afraid to start again. What's to fear?

DeleteYes I did but after the fact, not during the experience..... haha no, I had pneumonia and a fall. Survived both, obviously.......this is getting old.....I'm really tired of this dying and almost dying crap. Evidently, I can't get it right......😮
