Fireplace With Snow Falling Outside (best on full screen) now with old skool music
As I sat here around the fire, listenin’ to the crackle it was making I noticed I had a ton of messages on my phone. I knew she was lookin’ for me cause she left me a dozen messages beggin’ me to return her call when I got these messages. That’s just like Aachoo!
The first message said, “Oh, what a Christmas to have the blues Bells ringin' the sad, sad news Please come home for Christmas.“
The second message said, “Take back the holly and mistletoe Silver bells on string If I wrote a letter to Santa Claus I would ask for just one thing All I want for Christmas is You!”
I was just beginning to feel a rise in my……. heart, so I decided to listen to the third message, “Hi! This is a very, very unusual way to come to you But I gotta start by saying thanks. You’ve brought out the best in me Thanks for such a wonderful year. Let's make this Christmas mean something this year!”
I was beginning to get a little soft and was lookin’ forward to hearing more, so I listened to the next message. “I know there's somethin' real pretty Under that Christmas tree. I ain't had no lovin' And it's beginnin’ to worry me. Doesn’t Santa Claus want some lovin’? Do you hear me, my love? Doesn’t Santa Claus want some lovin'? So call me!” She has this thing about callin’ me her Santa!
So I listened to the next one, “Every day will be like a holiday With my baby next to me. I bought me a present today Some very sweet perfume. So just wait for me my baby You know I’ll be home soon!”
With every message I was beginnin’ to get a little antsy, so I listened to the next one, “Strings of street lights, even stop lights Blink a bright red and green. As the shoppers rush home with their treasures. Ring-aling, hear me sing There’s a sweet sound I hear. It’s your voice in my heart that’s so dear! Silver Bells! Silver Bells! I know my treasure is you.”
Each message was gettin’ sweeter by the minute. So I listened to the last one, “I hear a choir singing sweetly somewhere And there’s a glow that’s fillin’ my heart. As the sound of their singing fills the air I get lonesome when we’re this far apart. Oh how I wish “Everyday was like Christmas!”
Well, as I listened to the last beep, from somewhere, I could hear music. It was a very familiar tune. So I started to follow it. I went from room to room slowly and listened trying to find where it was coming from. I was just about to go past the front door when I stopped. It sounded like it was on the other side of the door. I slowly turned the knob and opened the door. And what to my wandering eyes should appear, it was Aachoo! She was really here! She was hummin’ “Oh Holy Night”! Well I took her by the arm and pulled her in, gave her a hug, and a sweet, sweet peck on the cheek! She said, “Now that I’m here, let’s break out the milk and chocolate chip cookies….. I’ve missed it so much. What could I say, she knows where my weaknesses are!
