Well there I was on stage that night, beltin' out a tune that was really outta sight! Wonderin' if she's comin' to my show tonight. "But, "It hasn't happened yet!" Then I thought, why isn't she here or did she just forget, to meet me here tonight, so we could be "Together!" Me her Phoenix and her my Pegasus! There's so much for us to learn, "Together!"
ReplyDeleteThen from across the room I saw her. My Lady! My Juliet! Her cheek leaning against her hand. Oh that I might touch it. Then she speaks! "My Romeo. I'm here for you. There's no one else for me but you. So Sing to me my love! What do ya say?" Then I said, "Why not me Baby?" But before she could say another word I was off the stage and had my arms around her, hushing her with a kiss. Then I told her it was my fault, and really "Hushed her with a kiss!"
What was your fault, Romeo? Whatever it was, I'm sure it was your fault, ya big lug!!!! lol

Happened Yet" and I still cry every time since. It just touches me in ways I can't explain. He can't sing a lick but boy, can he recite!!!! Have you heard him do "Has Been"??? hilarious.
