I was looking across the room when I saw you. You were as picturesque as a framed photo.
ReplyDeleteI wasn’t sure if I should approach you, but I was certainly going to try as I “Think about You!”
I thought, “C’mon man! Go talk to her. She ain’t gonna bite you!” (she does have some nice pearly whites that could sever a stick in two). I figured I’d better make my move before “I go Crazy!”
Well I was making my way across the room and had my eyes on you and that’s when I tripped over my own two feet and landed on the floor. I thought to myself, “Girl! ‘Look what you’ve done to me!’”
I jumped up real quick like and looked your way but you weren’t looking. I thought, “Sweet Baby” that would have been an embarrassing moment if you’d seen that. It would have ruined any moment I might have had of telling you of “The love she found in Me!”
Now I was really sweating up a storm. My palms were so sweaty that it was like they were pouring water. I thought, Baby, only you “Can stop the rain!”
As I stood there I thought, Girl! You are like a “Shining Star!” Really more like a “Shining Stone” but hey, I don’t work the “Night Shift” so I don’t get out much at night to see them stars shining. When I’m home, I usually “Stay” in most nights. I don’t like getting them “Temptations” to look like a “Rising Phoenix” ready to make an appearance. But here I am. Take it or leave it!
That was ADORABLE!!!! But evidently, you were working on your storyline as I was adding new songs to the list....so....keep writing, Kemosabe!!!! Aren't these some wonderful songs??? Geez, what
Deletehas happened to music anymore??? I never listen to the radio. I have to go to YT to find good old school music. The music industry has destroyed themselves with the garbage they produce nowadays. Who buys music anymore???? I used to spend every extra cent on records, tapes, CDs, etc, new, used, whatever. I can't remember the last time I bought anything, can you? Pitiful!!!! Glad you enjoy my playlists, Daveed! lol

Well, you took it. Like a Rabbitt to a carrot. Then you took my hand and started tracing the "Love Lines' on my palm. It felt so right. I knew "I didn't want to make love to anyone else but You!" (And I didn't). You had me at "Hello!"
You're like heaven in my heart. You're an angel in distress. Every time I look at you, "It's always like the first time!" 'Cause you're prettier today than you've ever been. And when you walk in the room you still take my heart away. Every time we touch, it feels so new to me. Like the first time that we met!
But I no longer have to say to myself, "If I had You", 'cause I've got you now.
How's that for a finale?!

I haven’t seen the sun since you’ve been gone, But “Can you stop the Rain?” that’s falling from my eyes, (they’re so red from not getting any sleep)! Plus I’ve been staring at this “Shining Star” above instead of the “Shinin’ Stone” from the hills. Then I realized that you’re busy tonight, working on your “night moves”, I mean the “Nightshift!” I hope you bring something smooth in a “Plain White Wrapper”, so don’t forget cause “I’m the one you Love!” Then I’ll pour you a glass of wine and “Ooh-ooh, yeah, hey
Oh no, na, na, na, na, na, na, yeah” then I’ll ask you to “Stay” cause I’m scared of the dark and besides that I need one of them thar’ face rubs you been promisin’, and then I can “Make you feel my Love” as your hands get ahold of my soft cheeks, (my face that is)…… (Naughty Girl!)
Then as you stroke my face get ahold of them “Lovelines” that form across my lips cause “I Don't Want To Make Love With Anyone Else But You” so you’ll know that “It’s always like the first time” if I can remember it, at least I think there was one, but “If I had You” I’d have “The Girl of my dream” to stroke my face like no other, then you can be “Forever Mine” cause we were made for each other, …. “Hello” are you listening to me? or are you on some “Voyage to Atlantis”?
Listen here “Superstar”, Shinin’ Star, or whatever you call yourself, you were my “Latest and Greatest Inspiration “ ….. and besides that, “Lady”, I’m your knight in shining armor……… so be gentle with the face, it’s a “Lady” magnet…… it goes with my magnesium, I mean magnetism…….
I couldn’t resist clowning around with it.
