But love's insanity amplifies

ONE HEARTBEAT AT A TIME

UNTIL MY HAND COMES TO REST

IN FRONT OF YOUR EYES

AND I SEE THAT YOU SEE.

I WAIT------------------------

AFRAID TO BREATHE,

 AFRAID TO MOVE, AFRAID TO SPEAK

I STAND--------------------

WAITING AN ETERNITY

FOR YOUR ACCEPTANCE OR REJECTION

OF THIS, MY HEART

MY PRECIOUS OFFERING, MY ONLY GIFT
