Soul Whisperer by Birri and Voo
Soul Whisperer
For many a moon I walked alone
On lonely shores round sorrowed seas
Walking.........wanting.....waiting
Waiting for what....I knew not
Until I saw your face.
Was then I knew myself
Or who myself should be
There in the shadow of your moonlit smile
And the starlight of your eyes......
You spoke straight to my soul.
Your whisper touched my heart
My pride crumbled at your feet
And all my defenses fell........
The walls lovelessness had built.
How did you know?
How did you see?
The me inside the facade of me?
You are a Soul Whisperer..........
And from sorrow, you've set me free.
There can only be, and ever has been,
One way to me...
The maps are in my eyes...
And you've followed them to my heart.
Every searching soul needs their maps.....
But only a Soul Whisperer
Can follow them
In the darkness.............
Come to me
My Seer in the Shadows.....
My Singer in the Silence...
I wait with yearning heart.
Come to me,
Run to me,
Run on feet of flames
For you and I.........
Have found our destination.
Soul Whisperer..........
Whisper to me now
In this hour and every hour of my life....
I hear you
My soul hears you........
All that I am...hears you....
Run!!

Surprises At Midnight
Surprises at Midnight
Get dressed, you said, in the sexiest thing you own
Throw on a coat and follow these words, alone
I've laid down a pretty paper roses trail
And where it leads you to, your eyes will tell
So I, in wonder, did just as he asked
For I was titillated by the task.
I hurried down the stairs and to the street
And the night was full of mystery and heat
I saw the pieces of paper shining there
Down the street, the pier and to the Square
I followed them until I came to rest
In an alley way, my heart pounding in my chest.
I looked around to see what I could see
And all I saw was a curiosity
A cardboard cut-out of a handsome man
Standing there with roses in his hand.
I sighed and turned to go from that dark place
And then he peeked around the cardboard face
"Hello, my love!" he grinned, "What a surprise!"
And I hit him with a pie between the eyes.
