I loved you before I met you
You were always in my heart
I didn't know you were a part of me
That had somehow been torn apart.
I only know the world made sense
For the first time in my life
The day that I first saw your face
And peace swallowed up my strife.
I saw myself inside your eyes
And you were there in mine
And I knew that I loved you
And would till the end of time.
But when time ends and eternity starts
Our real life will begin
And we will join as one once more
Like we have always been.
I don't understand the "whys" or "wheres"
I don't pretend I do
I just know I found myself
The day that I found you.
