Calling Your Name
Calling Your Name
(I stood alone calling your name
The clouds hid the sunlight and made way for the rain
Your name echoed back off the hills unto me
And my sad lonely shadow was all I could see.)
I'd sought you all of my life
Since I was but a child
I knew you were out there in the world
Somewhere in the wild.
For my dreams gave me glimpses
That my eyes couldn't see
And I knew that you existed
And were looking for me.
But my life took it's turns
Just as all lives, they do
And it distanced and detoured me
From the finding of you.
I met other lovers
I married and left
Two lovers who broke me
And left me bereft.
And I gave up on love
I gave up on life
For who needs a love
That's imprisoned in strife?
But my dreams never left me
They stayed buried, asleep
Laying stagnant and hidden
In my heart, oh, so deep.
And one day to my surprise
To my shock and my awe
My dreams were revived
By the face that I saw.
And the face was your face
A face I had known
In a dream, in a place
In a world of our own.
Where we walked hand in hand
As we walked through the world
Watching ages pass by us
As our dream lives unfurled.
Oh, and we were so happy
To just be we two
For I knew you loved me
And how much I loved you.
And I was your love
And you were my sweet boy
And our days and our nights
Were filled with pure joy.
And I was your love
And you were my sweet boy
And our days and our nights
Were filled with pure joy.
But what we didn't know
Till much passage of time
That only in that dream world
Could you really be mine.
Till the Fates co-conspired
With the Heavenly plan
And allowed this sad woman
To once again find that man.
We had always had hope
That someday, and somehow
Our two dreams would collide
In the here and the now.
And they did in the last place
That we ever had thought
Stumbling there upon the one thing
That we always had sought.
What a mystery and joy!
What a sweetness divine
For my heart still was yours
And your heart was still mine.
And our souls meshed together
And our bodies belonged
Just as sure as a melody
With the words of a song.
But what cruel turn of fate
Like the changing of weather
Once again we are parted
And cannot be together.
And I call out your name
Like a prayer on the wind
Wondering how long it will be
Till I'm with you again.
For even a dream
Will eventually die
And the reflection of your face
Will fade from my eye.
But my heart won't forget
When I take my last breath
That it loves you with a love
That is stronger than death.
I'm calling your name again now
My sweet boy, my dear
Hoping this time you'll answer
And say Yes love, I'm here.

Sychronicity
Time After Time
Eva Cassidy
Eva Cassidy
Synchronicity
One day in summer some years ago
I opened up my eyes
And saw that things were not what they seemed
To my wondering great surprise
I saw all things connected
I saw all things belonged
I saw all things were calibrated
And not made to work alone
The deja vus I'd always had
Were lanterns on the path
Showing me that my life could be
A product of divine math
Showing me that where I stood
Was where I was supposed to be
I began to see things others did not
Nor did they want to see
I saw the connections in all things
The flower, the bee, the bird
The sky, the sea, in you and me
Heard things I'd never heard
I saw that Time was a linear thing
That led unto an end
Events were planned to help the man
Finish tasks that God would send
Geometry in everything
Formulas to find
Ways to mend the broken things
Like the vase, the heart, the mind
Doors would open, doors would close
And old things would become new
I'd walk the same trail every day
Seeing falsity and true
And every day things appeared the same
Though in subtle ways they changed
And only opened eyes could see
That they'd been rearranged
I walked and talked, yet felt alone
Here in this world of blue
Until the day time did it's thing
And choreographed a dance with you
You'd always been there, I'd always been here
Though our paths had never crossed
And if the timing had been one minute off
Think of what we would have lost.
The golden mean* of our desire
Was our destined ground to meet
And yet our choices led us here
With God guiding our straying feet
It all works just like clockwork
When you find the rhythm's pulse
And you find the place where you belong
And do not the math, convulse
Choices have their consequence
And destiny, it's sway
But it's up to us to open the door
That sends us on our way
I see syn-chronic measures
I feel syn-chronic beats
In life and limb, in her, in him
As they perform syn-chronic feats
And every synchronicity*
And every turn of the key
Every gear that runs the clock
Moves the now to history
And while the Time is linear
And we may not see, it's true
The past, the present, the future days
Are all one from God's eye view
And it's in His plan and in His hand
And yet in ours to make
A life worthwhile to share and love
If we'll just stay awake
It all works together
Like webs of silver threads
That can be seen by spirit sight
Not with eyes placed in our heads
I saw these things some time ago
But didn't know till now
That time could swerve within God's curve
And change my life somehow
Even though the plan was set
Even though it's cast
You found me in my present
Still residing in my past.
And time goes by so quickly now
Not like before I knew
For now I pray for one more day
To spend just loving you.
And time goes by so quickly now
Not like before I knew
For now I pray for one more day
To spend just loving you.

Fibonacci spiral in everything
****
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. In ancient Greek philosophy,
especially that of Aristotle,
the golden mean or golden middle
way is the desirable middle between two extremes, one of excess
and the other of deficiency.
****
- Synchronicity, the experience of two or more events that are
- apparently causally unrelated or
- unlikely to occur together
- by chance, yet are experienced as occurring together in a
- meaningful manner****
In orbital mechanics involving more than one body of mass the
Golden Ratio is important
as the most irrational number.
This number keeps the universe from colliding into black holes and
is thus very important to nature.
Lay Me Down To Dream
The Dove'
by Brian Crain
Lay Me Down to Dream
Lay me down to dream, I said
And looked deep into your eyes
I am so tired and weary now
I need some lullabies.
Lay me down to dream, my love
My days have been so long
I need to rest upon your chest
I need to hear your song.
Lay me down to dream, I plead
My dreams have flown away
I cannot think or recall them
I don't know how to make them stay.
But there within your gentle hands
And in your tender touch
Is every dream I've ever had
And all I love so much.
Pull me close there in your arms
And think of what I've said
Then when I'm calm, then lay your hands
Upon my weary head.
And transfer every dream in you
That you can give or spare
And send me to that land of dreams
Where I can meet you there.
I do not know the way, my love
I can't find it on my own
Bestow on me that precious gift
Known to yourself, alone.
I've traveled many miles, you know
On a recent treacherous route
And found myself in perilous places
With no one to lead me out.
But there were angels and there was you
And the good Lord up above
And He blessed me with a road map back
And a light made out of love.
And I've come back from darkest dark
With a new mission, it does seem
But I need you now to sing me to sleep
And lay me down to dream.

Watching You
Can't Help Falling
Watching You
Watching you walk down the stairs
My glad heart skips a beat
I pick you out of every crowd
On every crowded street
I see you in the moonlight
And every ray of sun
The night wind whispers your blessed name
And the birds sing, "He's the one"
I feel your sweetness in every smile
I see your face in dreams
I taste your kiss in every raindrop
See your image in every stream
You're with me everywhere I go
Even when I go to sleep
Your memory reaches up your arms
And pulls me down so deep
Till you're in every part of me
And I'm in your every part
I'll love you more each passing day
Till there's no room left in my heart.
